LDAD Joins Coalition Urging the Judicial Conference of the United States to conclude its investigation of Justice Thomas

LDAD has joined a coalition of five other prominent organizations to urge the Judicial Conference of the United States to conclude its investigation into Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas for his potential violations of the Ethics in Government Act. The origins of this effort date back to April of 2023, when the Campaign Legal Center asked the Judicial Conference to refer Justice Thomas to the Attorney General of the United States for his failure to report significant gifts in his financial disclosure forms.

Public trust in the Supreme Court and our commitment to accountability demand that this investigation be concluded and disclosed to the public.
