LDAD joined 74 other organizations in a letter to Congress, seeking immediate congressional action to overturn the Supreme Court's stunning decision granting sweeping immunity to the President of the United States. The letter critiques the ruling as a significant threat to our democracy, noting that providing presidents with legal immunity for criminal acts is an affront to the principle that no one is above the law.
