This has been an extraordinarily tumultuous year. Relentless assaults on democracy, the rule of law, and our justice system have tested the very foundations of our constitutional government. In response, Lawyers Defending American Democracy intensified our efforts, as more fully described in our 2025 Year-End Report, Meeting the Moment in an Unprecedented Year.

 We are profoundly grateful to the many volunteers who have dedicated time and expertise to defending the rule of law, and to the many donors who have generously contributed to LDAD. Your confidence fuels our ability to respond to these unprecedented challenges.

Your support ensures we have the resources to accelerate our work in restoring democracy, defending the rule of law, and safeguarding a justice system that is under threat.

 Our nation’s ideals call us to action. Today, that means defending the judiciary, protecting our freedoms, and responding to the extraordinary threats to our democratic institutions.
