Please join our webinar on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 5:00 pm (eastern) for an important conversation about how the behaviors of lawyers can contribute to the erosion of democracies and the creation of autocracies. Our speaker is Scott L. Cummings, the Robert Henigson Professor of Legal Ethics at the UCLA School of Law and winner of a 2023 Guggenheim Fellow to study the role of lawyers in backsliding democracies. His recent article examines how lawyers have attacked the rule of law in America.
Professor Cummings will be interviewed by the esteemed Boston Globe Senior Opinion Writer and Columnist, Kimberly Atkins Stohr. Attorney Stohr also serves as an on-air political analyst for MSNBC, frequent panelist on NBC's Meet the Press, and co-host of the legal news podcast, #SistersInLaw.
